Thoughtful leadership for students, teachers and our community!
At the center of my personal and professional life are kids.
For the last 16 years, I have used my skill set in the nonprofit world to create opportunities for children to achieve their potential.
Over the last 14 years, my husband and I have mentored a child in the foster care system and several vulnerable youth in our community. We are firm believers that education is a springboard to empowering successful futures.
I understand the value of community volunteers and take the responsibility seriously. I have experience managing nonprofit boards as well as serving on them.
Our classrooms are filled with children with unique strengths and challenges.
I believe an environment that fosters inclusion, celebrates differences and encourages diversity of thought provides real life practice.

The teachers and staff in our district are exceptional and what they are doing in our school buildings goes far beyond teaching. They are encouraging. They are challenging. They are inspiring. And they are deserving of our respect.

Our district needs leaders who listen, prioritize student success and are attentive to the obstacles teachers face with this generation of learners. The strength of our school system and our community depends on it.

When children are thriving and teachers and staff feel supported,
then all boats rise.

I am here for our students, teachers and community. I am here to serve.
